When my husband was in Africa on a hunt for freakishly giant insect life…he had one of these unusual face masks made for me.
The locals take a wet clay/dirt concoction and place if over the face of the person who wants it made into a mask. The person has to sit for two hours until the mask hardens and they can pull it off. They apparently stick fire ants under the mask to help the person get it off FASTER!
I guess it's ALL really quite unpleasant!
You can actually SEE the tear on my husband's face dried into the clay!

My husband endured ALL OF THAT... just so I CAN HAVE HIS LIKENESS, up on our bedroom wall, to look at whenever he has to travel!
It's just like he's RIGHT THERE WITH ME!
How many husbands out there would do something like this for their wives? I'm a lucky woman right?
