Bella Constantine lived in the back yard of a house in Minnesota.
Bella’s job was to keep watch over the gardens. She was recognized daily by her signature red hat and red dress. She had held the position of garden mistress for more years than she could remember.
In good weather Bella thrived and loved her job.
Most winters her employers would pack Bella up and bring her into the house where she could hang out in a warm storage area, nice and snug, over the winter months.
Then....one cruel winter...Bella realized her employers had forgotten all about her!
Bella was forced to take matters into her own hands and find a way to keep warm.
Nobody would have ever guessed that Bella was capable of taking down a black squirrel with her bare hands.
